​201 KAR 2:0045 – Pharmacy Technicians: The amendment permits registered pharmacy technicians, under general pharmacist supervision, to stock, retrieve, return, and load pharmacy inventory into automated pharmacy systems using machine-readable coding technology.

201 KAR 2:0063 Predetermination Of License Eligibility for those Convicted of a Crime: This NEW administrative regulation is mandated through KRS 335B.032 (2026) and establishes a process for individuals with prior criminal convictions to request a predetermination from the Board regarding their eligibility for licensure, registration, certification, or employment before pursuing a credential. It establishes application requirements, procedures for issuing eligibility determinations, and administrative hearing rights for applicants determined to be ineligible.

201 KAR 2:0074 Pharmacy Services in Hospitals: This amendment permits registered pharmacy technicians, under general pharmacist supervision, to stock or load automated pharmacy systems in hospitals using machine-readable coding technology. It aligns hospital pharmacy requirements with the expanded technician functions authorized under 201 KAR 2:045 while maintaining pharmacist oversight and system safeguards.

201KAR 2:0160 Licensees; Inactive Status: This amendment clarifies when a pharmacist is ineligible for inactive status and updates the requirements for returning an inactive license to active status. It removes the jurisprudence examination requirement for pharmacists inactive five years or less and specifies NAPLEX and MPJE as the required examinations for pharmacists inactive more than five years.

201 KAR 2:0280 Prescription Dispensing for Formulary Compliance:​ This amendment updates the regulation governing the dispensing of equivalent drug products pursuant to a practitioner's declaration of formulary compliance approval for dispensing that occurs as a part of the legend drug repository.
